Immanuel !Hanabeb serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Erongo Regional Electricity Distributor (Erongo RED), a position he has held since 2022. In his role, he leads the company in its mission to provide reliable and sustainable electricity to communities across the Erongo region.
Mr !Hanabeb holds a Master’s Degree in Development Finance from the University of Stellenbosch, and a B-Tech Degree in Finance and Administration from Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST). Furthermore, his academic qualifications include various Certificates and Diplomas. Mr !Hanabeb is a seasoned Executive with more than 25 years of senior management experience, including a decade of experience in strategic development, revenue generation strategies, business development, stakeholder engagement and project management. Prior to joining Erongo RED, !Hanabeb held senior roles at Namibia Ports Authority (Namport), Roads Authority (RA), Road Contractor Company (RCC), Standard Bank, Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) and the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MHSS).
His extra-curricular activities include serving as the Chairperson of the Business and Intellectual Property Authority (BIPA) Board and the Patron of the Daures Agricultural Show and SME Expo.
